City of Mirrors is a personal psychogeography of Canary Wharf. A key impression of a sense of unreality is given visual representation through the form of watery reflections with their capacity for illusion and distortion. The perception of strangeness is further heightened through the use of inverted colouring, while watercolour with its ability to flow and blend is the perfect medium to represent these concerns.
